The Good Samaritan Free Health Center, which opened in January 2011, has helped thousands of uninsured, non-Medicaid/Medicare-eligible adults find a medical home where they are able to receive regular primary healthcare. Volunteers are the primary providers of care, which also includes specialties, dental, and behavioral healthcare.

This organization operates with a sliding scale and serves the uninsured and underinsured residents of Hamilton and Butler counties. Please note that only some zip codes close to Lincoln Heights can use the dental service. To find out whether or not you zip code applies, call the dental number and ask. New patients who do not have insurance can register for an appointment by calling the “New Patients” number. By calling this number, the patients will be able to get a discount for their appointment.

The University of Cincinnati Student-Run Free Clinic (SRFC) provides free medical care for adults who do NOT have health insurance. Patients are seen by a team of medical students along with a licensed physician.
Who can be seen? You are an adult (at least 18 years old), you do not currently have health insurance, and you have an acute (new) medical problem, for example, new pain or a rash*
*Currently, we do not care for long-term conditions that you have been treated for in the past, like refilling high blood pressure medications. We are happy to answer questions about whether we can treat your condition.
